Freedom! (2008)

A robot is moving along a sheet of Whatman paper, it creates a picture according to a special program. An artist takes away the picture, signs and hangs it in a frame on the wall. After that the robot is put into a cage. It does not know how soon it will be let out – to create again.

This work evokes many questions: about the freedom of creativity, about the place of an artist in society, about “the genuine art” of today.
